Farewell Kiss is a metaphor of parting love. Though the theme of this piece is romantic, it could be placed in the same line with Mythology of the Oceans and Heavens, due to its common motif, “Earth-Heaven.” According to the traditions of many nations, the earth and the sky used to be a single substance (Cosmic Egg). Anything happening on Earth would be reflected in the sky.
