Treasure Island

An island of treasure. We see naturally born jewel flowers and plants, silver mountains on the horizon glimmers the solar symbol of this artificial world—a gold coin reflected in the wings of a metallic butterfly. The medieval rulers of the east are known to decorate their palaces with artificial nature; thus, one of them arranged in his palace the artificial lake of mercury so that at night “the radiance of the Moon would be combined with sparkling of mercury.” Another ruler built on a small islet amidst the pond, a tree, whose branches were made from silver and gold.
